I’m always looking for examples of creative and well executed 3D camera projections but I have to say this one by DrawLight in collaboration with artist Rabarama takes the cake! This appears to be the first application of 360° 3D projection to sculpture. The combined effect of the physical sculptural form and the 3D projections is quite striking and really holds up even at close range. The resulting shifting “skin” effect is quite surreal. The piece will be on display at the Le Pagliere in Florence from June 10th to September 30th, for anyone in the area I highly recommend checking this out!
