Just a little render test of a model I made the other day with Photofly 2. The subject is an old weathered and broken “Garden Angel” Statue from the yard. Photofly picked up all kinds of nice detail in the mesh and texture. In these two shots displacement is off, only a little bump. Rendered in Max with Maxwell Render 2.5. BTW this was rendered @ 720p to SL 8 with only HDRI light in 1 to 2 minutes a frame with a core i7-920 with full DOF and Motionblur at render-time! Who says Maxwell’s slow!

Next week I’ll post a little walk-through video tutorial covering from photo taking to rendering of this scene plus a few others. I am also putting together a brief video looking at some workflows for VFX and Architectural Visualization. Tons of potential in this one little application!
